Coyote Camp 23 and 24
I love predator hunting. It is so thrilling when you’re shining a light in the night and see red eyes running at you. We started not too many years ago and are working on getting better every year. My family recently got a cabin, and it has been such a blessing with all the wildlife. From elk to bobcats, at some point almost everything shows up on camera. The local club upstate holds a fox and coyote hunt that we have entered the last two years. We hunt through the night at home and then head upstate to hunt there (stopping of course for breakfast). Both years we had a fun time enjoying the cabin and just hanging out while also harvesting 2 red fox and a gray each year. Both grays were killed right in the yard at the cabin. We have yet to get a coyote in the few years that we’ve been in an area, but we definitely won’t stop trying. I can’t wait till February of this year to make more memories and try our luck again. To me, hunting is so thrilling but relaxing at the same time. If you have a good hunting experience, chances are you’re hooked.
